A day to make a difference in Kendall.

Gather your team and join the Kendall Square Association, Facebook Boston, Boston Marriott Cambridge, and Champions. Kendall Community Day, formerly known as the Kendall CleanUp, is an opportunity to enhance the neighborhood by cleaning Kendall’s streets and sidewalks or assembling a free bookshare library. Give back to the community and network with your neighbors. Join us after for a BBQ on the patio hosted by Champions! There will be great food, refreshing drinks, live music, and a raffle with some amazing prizes.

CLEAN A CORNER OF KENDALL

KSA members recruit teams of "cleaners" from their offices to gather for an afternoon of service in the neighborhood. After checking in on Kendall Plaza, teams head to their designated areas of Kendall Square to pick up trash and recyclables.

Each year the KSA hosts or partners closely on more than a dozen events, and works hard to advocate for our members. If you would like to join us as a cleaning team and make a contribution to the KSA we welcome your generosity. Suggested donations for this event begin at $75.

MAKE A MOBILE LIBRARY

It's the inaugural year of #KendallReads so form a team with your co-workers and spend the afternoon out on Kendall Plaza assembling Kendall Square's first-ever free booksharing mobile libraries. #KendallReads is a partnership of the KSA, Facebook Boston, Jacobs, Sienna Construction, and Suffolk Construction.

In order to keep growing programs like #KendallReads, we rely on the generosity of our members. In order to take part in the library building we are asking teams to pay participation fees that begin at $75.

What are KSA members saying about #KendallReads?

CHRIS BARR Executive Director  Biogen Foundation

I think it aligns with the Kendall Square vision of being an innovative and thoughtful place. An incubator for ideas.

I love seeing a non-profit organization find ways to leverage their network with the local businesses to foster a better neighborhood.
