The COOP is a membership based business that returns an annual rebate to its members though anybody can shop in the store. The COOP offers course materials, reference and trade books, dorm and academic supplies, convenience items such as food, snacks and health and beauty aids as well as the largest assortment of MIT logo apparel and gifts anywhere. Additionally, there is a barber shop and food court at the location.
